I've enabled 2FA/MFA authentication with OTP code but when I try to open admin interface, it simply fails with error 403.
Without presenting any pin code submission form.
My Pleroma installation is now 2.3.0

Running into the same issue. Does this mean Pleroma admin accounts never use MFA? Or is there a different FE people are using for admin?

Well a workaround is to use PleromaFE and click on the "admin" button in the top bar.

The workaround does not work for users that installed an alternative frontend such as Soapbox - is there any plan to support MFA on the login screen?
