Gallery click event propagation issue on mobile

Sometimes when you close the gallery by clicking outside the image, the click event propagates to whatever element is under the overlay (the navigation menu, the image, etc). This leads to inconvenient behavior when closing the image takes the user to another feed, opens the sidebar, or opens the same image again. (happens in iOS Safari/Chrome/Firefox)
