Can't start DM in pleroma-fe

Hi

I noticed that I can't start a DM but I can reply in pleroma-fe. But mastodon-fe allows me to start a message with mutual followers.

Wondering why this might be? Is this a weird Pleroma/Mastodon difference, or did I forget to set something in my instance?

Happy to help with implementing this feature if its needed.
