Filter for replies in the timeline stopped working

Since update/pleroma-fe-20190426 was merged into pleroma, the filter for replies in the timeline doesn't work anymore. It makes no difference if I select "Only show replies directed at me or users I'm following" or "Only show replies directed at me", nothing is filtered.
