[QOL Improvement Idea] Improving behaviour of "Replies" / "Reply To" behaviour
Currently when a user mouses over a reply in a thread ,it will show the parent message hovering over the child post. It will also change the mouse cursor to display a pointing finger, indicating that it is further interactable. However, clicking will do nothing.
Suggestions for improvement ordered in what I feel is better user experience:
-
Clicking the text mimics the "+" icon behaviour, providing an intuitive way to view the full thread, as the user is already being shown a preview of part of the thread. This would also be a more intuitive workflow for dealing with collapsed previews, which currently requires the user to click elsewhere to view the thread
-
Clicking the text auto-expands collapsed subjects, unhides "censored" images, allowing the user to see the preview fully without needing to expand the full thread or:
-
Mouse cursor does not change on hoverover to indicate that there's no other functionality.
