The difficulty of mentioning Lain #1038

sorry if this is fixed, I have 2.1.2

Basically the handle suggestion dropdown loads 5 suggestions and that's it, so if someone has ten million accounts like lain, you more often than not get 5 dead ones or completely different people. One solution could be something like "load more". Another would be to load ones you follow first. This may be more of a back-end issue though, idk

you can just write @lain@la and it'll keep suggesting the right ones, as long as your version is new enough to have that

that works great but you have to first know the correct domain name instead of just remembering the avatar

the "ones you follow first" still doesn't quite solve the problem (for lain) because of multiple alt-accounts. Would help tremendously to know which account posted recently or frequently.

so should the backend order the results already? it would make things slower as to know if you follow someone you need a relationship too

I think having it based on which one you mention most frequently would probably make the most sense IMO
