Environment info

Bug description & reproduction steps

  • Use absolute time
  • Wait for a very long time
  • The absolute time format is still of the hour-minute even though the post is days ago.

Bug seriousness

  • How annoying it is:
  • How often does it happen: every time
  • How many people does it affect:
  • Is there a workaround for it:

Can't reproduce the bug. Your public timeline shows 1d, 2d, 3d and so on just fine for me and I'm also on Firefox. Is this still an issue or did it maybe fix itself after a Firefox update or a cache delete? Or maybe it's because of rikaichamp somehow as that is an add-on I don't have. But I just tested that as well and still don't have the issue. Another idea of things you could try is to turn of all add-ons and see if the problem persists. Perhaps by turning them back on one by one you can find out which one...

Oh, you're talking about absolute time. Never tried such a setting. Didn't even know it exists. Found it now. Gonna try reproducing the bug again... Have you tried increasing or decreasing "Only use for time more than this number of days away from now"? When I set that number to zero it looks like fine for me, except for the weird format of <day of the month, hour of day>, which already tracked as a separate issue: https://git.pleroma.social/pleroma/pleroma-fe/-/issues/1342
Maybe that's what's confusing you. And maybe that's why HJ made that issue. I'm a new contributer btw...

You can't reproduce because it takes days or months for the format to be supposed to be changed, and it's a different issue than what you mentioned.

Oh, ok... Yeah, really can't reproduce then. Difficult to work on it then as well...
