Bug description

javascript inserts a css rule that firefox rejects as illegal and throws a DOMException. Pausing the debugger shows the problematic rule:

::-webkit-scrollbar-button:disabled {\n --background: rgba(17, 24, 34, 1);\nbackground-color: rgba(17, 24, 34, 1);\n --shadow: 0px 1px 0px 0px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.2) inset, 0px -1px 0px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2) inset;\n --shadowFilter: ;\n --shadowInset: 0px 1px 0px 0px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.2) inset, 0px -1px 0px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2) inset;\n --roundness: 3px;\n}

FF behavior in attached screenshot. Mobile firefox seems unaffected.

Reproduction steps

  1. Load instance front page under Firefox desktop.

Bug seriousness

  • How annoying it is: Need to use a different browser entirely
  • How often does it happen: every page load
  • How many people does it affect: probably just me idk what kind of masochist uses firefox anymore
  • Is there a workaround for it: use chrome or some other fe.
