Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
So i'll keep things short and sweet i have 3 ideas/suggestions for users.
let a user lock their own posts
example: if a user wants to display share media they enjoy. they might want to pin it and lock it so others don't mess with their thread. also only they can interact with the post. (some non open social media sites have this.)
let a user delete posts from their own thread.
example: say a user posts that cool media they shared that they enjoy and another user interacts without any good criticism. lets say trolling and they might want to delete and block/mute the troll. (admins have this power of deleting posts on threads why not users?)
let blocked users not interact with their posts.
example: if a user blocks/mute users the blocked user can't chat to the one who blocked them. (wasn't this a feature or was it on a non open social media website?)
All of that is literally unforceable beyond the scope of your own instance.
what suggestion number 3?
All of them.
It is possible to attach such "laws" to posts and synchronize those with other instances but it requires other instances to be aware of this new feature and also uphold it (which is easily ignoreable)
