Unable to install

I am installing on Debian and get t this section: Git clone the PleromaBE repository and make the Pleroma user the owner of the directory:

Using this command: sudo -Hu pleroma git clone -b stable https://git.pleroma.social/pleroma/pleroma /opt/pleroma

I get:

fatal: Could not change back to '/root': Permission denied

I cannot get past this. Please advise Many thanks

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
