with OTP release 2.6.2 it's still not possible to follow threads.net user, given that known and fixed 'outbox issue'.
Is it possible to have that fix on a OTP release ?

Federation with Threads will only be possible if and when Threads decides to support it.

I explicitly didn't spoke about 'full federation' as right now is only one way and all the stuff.

But there is a one line bug (a real bug, missing outbox), that does not let those accounts being found by webfinger and has been corrected already in the sources and in the *oma forks and it didn't ended up on the OTP version yet.
