Feature Request: Ability to hide all NSFW/sensitive posts and certain instances for users who are not logged in
Basically I'd like to not display any posts that are tagged as NSFW/sensitive to people who are not logged in but have them visible by default for accounts that are logged in. It would be nice to have a toggle in account/FE settings as well.
Just to be clear, I'm not talking about nsfw_clickthrough
, I'm talking about not displaying the post entirely.
This would be especially helpful with laws about not giving minors easy access to pornography as it could be argued a clickthrough image isn't enough of a hindrance but requiring an account and requiring users to be 18+ to make an account would be enough of a hindrance.
Also, it'd have the added benefit of making your website look more presentable decreasing the amount of disappointment your parents have in you. I mean, they'll still be disappointed but less so because at least now your website isn't just covered in port.
As for the instances it'd be nice to be able to hide certain instances so it's not just full of a bunch of gab posts or whatnot but not actually hide it from authenticated users so if that's something they want to see it's not being hidden from them.
This is mostly about just making instances look more "presentable" to people who stumble upon them without actually hiding/censoring anything from actual users.
