Decide what to do with certain features that have problems

As mentioned by @a1batross in pleroma-meta!3, Pleroma currently has certain features that have concerning issues (whether from lack of maintenance or merging things before fixing them later). Some of these include:

  • SSH access mode and Gopher server
    Options:
    • Remove features (!3674 (closed), admin-fe!207 (closed))
    • Keep features optional and improve functionality (starting with !3675 (merged))
  • Dead scrobble**
  • Dead Admin API***
  • Two HTTP clients that are nearly broken***
  • OTP builds that are causing more problems than just being easily installable***
  • Unreliable Static-FE
  • Overengineered solutions like emoji packs management
  • Chat messages that doesn't even have the ability to delete a chat

Key:
** - May need some further research
*** - May need further clarification

There is probably others that I'm missing. Feel free to mention if that's the case and I'll add to this list when I can.
