Selectable buttons no longer change text color when selected after switch to Themes V3

Somewhere in the switch to Themes V3 the reply/quote switcher stopped changing text color when selected making it harder to read on the bright orange background in the Pleroma Dark theme. Same behavior can be seen in the theme switcher in the Appearance settings tab.

EDIT: I think its almost all of these highlighted buttons rather than only the examples above, because the same behavior can be seen on the follow/mute buttons in user cards and profiles as well.
