Japanese translation is uncomfortable

I recently started using Pleroma.

It is hard to read sentences written in hiragana or katakana when I use it in my first language, Japanese. Because hiragana and katakana are phonetic characters, people need to guess the meaning. So please tell me the reason why you don't use ideographic kanji.
