These should be the same, if they aren't that's a bug
currentUser gets out of date since it's only set at login (which is why you can see follow-mute-block on yourself but not in the corner)
..unless that's intended?
Yeah, now that I look at it it's not really pleromabe-related, I just rarely post on gs so it doesn't become outdated.
