How about "beim Löschen" instead of "bei der Löschung"?

Is this grammatically correct? "Beim" is the short form of "bei dem", so "Es ist ein Fehler bei dem löschen deines Account..." sounds weird, or is it just me?

i think 'bei dem löschen' is the 3. case (dritter Fall?) of 'das Löschen' and should be allowed, but im not 100% sure.
