Granular content
Hi, granular contents are a killer-feature from Mastodon which allow to easily separate professional contents (public-facing posts) from everything else (private posts).
I'm not a developer, even if I'd love to join the project, but I'd like to see two features :
- followings-only and followers-only (or [audience]-only) posts;
- and private posts sharing (boost-like feature). Such posts should be shareable by anyone from the "audience" (a feature alike Google+'s circles) towards anyone in the "audience" (enabling post bumping).
There could also be a way to create cooptation-based audiences without letting everyone know who's in the audience. An example would be publicly listed curators with access to everyone in the audience and the ability to accept or vote against the acceptance of someone in the database. Anyone in the audience could suggest any ActivityPub user into it, leaving up to the curators to accept or not the person.
Thanks for reading, best regards!
