Suggestions when @-ing someone right now are utterly useless. Pleroma just displays random accounts and somehow sorts them to be even less useful than just a list of random accounts.
There's two possible ways to deal with this:
- Make it suggest actually relevant things. Just listing accounts that the user follows that start with the same letter alphabethically would go a long way. 98% coverage.
- If I have to type the whole webfinger anyway, then just disable the list of recommendations. It's better to not show anything than this.
